Tsavorite

Tsavorite gemstone is considered as one of the rarest gemstones on earth. It is a type of Garnet which is the combination of one or more minerals. Garnet usually occurs in different colours, when it is green in colour, it is said to be the Tsavorite gemstone . It is likely said to be as the emerald-green variety of the Garner family. Its value has been increased nowadays due to its rare formation in nature and marketing tricks. It was first found in Tanzania later found in the borders of Kenya. Hence its name is derived from the famous national wildlife preservative park named the Tsavo National Park is an iconic feature of the African Serengeti. The categorization of all the minerals usually ends with the 'ite'. Since this mineral has to give a tribute to the Tsavo River and the Tsavo National park of Africa it is named 'Tsavorite'.
